Privacy Policy

A plain-language explanation. This is an example from a WordPress course: “Pipe & Kin”, Dripford and the phone number are fictional.
Who is responsible
“Pipe & Kin” is an example, not a real plumbing business. The publisher owns the website and is the data controller under the GDPR:
Marks Tech Adrian Marks
ul. Kozielska 19, 47-208 Łężce, Poland
Polish tax number (NIP): 7491993929
Email: adrian@adrianmarks.dev
No tracking, no cookies
This website uses:
- no cookies for analytics or advertising;
- no Google Analytics or other analytics tools;
- no advertising pixels or social media widgets;
- no externally hosted fonts — fonts come from the same host as the website;
- no external scripts, interactive maps or embedded videos.
Hosting with Cloudflare
Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) hosts and delivers the static website through Workers Static Assets and its CDN. The public website does not run PHP or a WordPress database.
When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, time, requested page and browser information. Technical logs support website delivery and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare processes data under its privacy terms and data processing addendum. Data may be transferred to the United States. For safeguards and international transfers, see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. The email inbox is covered by Proton’s Privacy Policy.
The contact form
The form asks for only your phone number and email address. It does not ask for your name, address or a description of the problem. Please enter made-up details for this demonstration.
This is a form test, not a request to a plumber. Please enter made-up details. With your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, we use the details only to test the form and delete test messages after checking them. You can withdraw consent by email at any time. We do not sell the details or use them for marketing.
After you submit, a Cloudflare Worker checks the fields and sends your phone number and email address by email to Adrian Marks’s test inbox: stronapokazowa.kurs@proton.me. Cloudflare sends the message; Proton Mail (Proton AG, Switzerland) receives it. WordPress is only the local editing tool and does not receive form submissions. There is no website database of requests, but the email remains in the inbox until deleted. A hidden spam-trap field and short request limits help prevent abuse without cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing where applicable. You can also complain to a data protection authority, including Poland’s UODO (uodo.gov.pl).
For privacy requests, email adrian@adrianmarks.dev.
Changes
If the website changes, we update this policy and its date.
